SEX AND FAME SHE COMES WITH BRAINS!

Nicole, sweet like candy but she aint all sugar and spice. We've known for 3 years now and life has been nothing but fabulous for me and i hope for her too...! Well, the very first time we've met, i thought she's a twat! Guess I was wrong. We clicked quickly and more I learn about lil miss mama, we have one thing in common which is MEN! You can hate them or love them but you know they are still an obsession. She a fashionable femininista, just like the bunnies who made their own monies. She does make-up and some styling jobs for a living. If you like to see her work or book her please do smack her up at chocolate_sauce@hotmail.com. Her work is all about micro-fame and video games; and she can apply her lipstick while working her joystick.

The day of our arrival to the city of angles..i mean bkk for Culture One festival 2009. It was awesome meeting all the ppl there and dudesweet rocks!

She is the sweetest most down to earth gal i've ever met. Paloy Horwang always with a smile 24/7 on her face just lightnes up your day. She's a friend i known since a year ago. While partying the nights in bangkok. She was introduced to me as "The Diet Pills" along side Ms Pom Pom. Twiggy Chic for Inside magazine March2008

Frida Gustavsson, sixteen from Stockholm, Sweden, is the best new face for me (her elfish face reminds me of Tanya). Her personal street style is amazing. She’s having a massively successful season so far including opening New York’s Richard Chai show, opening London’s Luella and Pringle of Scotland’s shows, and walking a host of other major shows.
Seriously she’s got the sense of style.
i totally fell in love with her, and hope she goes far.

F/W 2010: Neon by Dudu & Rita.

Neon explored the women/animal relation as their concept for this F/W 2010 collection. From what we saw on the runway represented by the creative duo Dudu Bertholini and Rita Comparato, the winner was certainly the hunter, a powerful woman who is not afraid to take risks and who knows how to mix fashion and sense of humour.

The patterns that are a huge part of the brand’s identity were very vell-developed in this collection, on beautiful cotton blouses, skirts and dresses. The broad silhouettes that mark the duo’s creations were also featured in great manteaux and coats – made with knitting, tweed, suede and leather. The featured pants were either loose and plaided, or tight, in horse-riding style. The pants were worn along with knee-high suede or leather boots.

The cool accessories seen on the runway were created by the iconic Christine Yufon,  one of the greatest influences of designers Bertholini and Comparato. The animal sculptures that held to the models were responsible for beautiful moments of the show, as well as the fish-shoes which added yet another touch of humour to the looks.

At the end of the presentation, several models stood around a huge lion-shaped sculpture that was placed in the middle of the runway. At that moment, a series of conceptual pieces were displayed, made with various materials, such as neoprene, rubber and leather. Such items allowed the designers to  play with silhouettes in a new and interesting manner – we should certainly mention the rigid, asymmetric dress that has a sleeve like a toucan’s beak, and the funny manteaux that resembles of an elephant.

Another great collection that are certainly gonna appeal to the brand’s faithful costumers.

A fresh breath of air!

SPFW F/W 2010: Alexandre Herchcovitch!

Alexandre Herchcovitch was inspired by Ingmar Bergman’s film The Seventh Seal to create his F/W 2010 menswear collection. The designer took the film’s dark atmosphere, and the dangerous chess match between life and death and applied the theme to  his collection.

The designer’s impeccable tailoring, jackets and coats with smart details and cut, the careful choice of materials, the colour palette composed by black and gray tones, the beautiful plaid patterns and the heavy skull make-up, it all contributed to the dark feel of the presentation – and by the way, let’s not forget that the symbol of a skull has always been part of Herchcovitch’s creative identity.

From the first to the last look, the show was filled of desirable items, like the incredible hooded jackets covered by a coat of black tulle, the well-cut  pleaded pants and the excellent coats and manteaux, a right bet for a heavier winter. As usual, Herchcovitch’s menswear presentation was far less conceptual than his female show. However, the designer’s creative genius allows the most basic of items to find relevance in the context of a fashion show, without letting go of a commercial style

MUD pick: The beautiful and versatile hooded jackets, with lots of pockets and zippers, that diverge from trivial pieces by their rich details and the unusual black tulle overlay.

Note-
It's so new, loose, crazy like kilimanjaro but still in pushing the envelope. So much of added elements which is fresh for 2010. I heart Alexandre Herchovitch!
